Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/27/25
Thursday was considerably cooler than Wednesday, but the fishing didn鈥檛 heat up.
Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa reported that James Temple caught a Delaware Citation 1.68-pound Crappie out of Noxontown Pond on a minnow. Doug Smith had a Delaware Citation 5.21-pound Snakehead from the waters of Delaware City. She also said that croaker are being caught on bloodworms or FishBites from the fishing pier at Woodland Beach.
Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic told us that trout and flounder are being caught from the jetty at Bowers Beach on peeler crab. The same fish are being taken from the Upper-Bay reef sites on the same bait.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us the head boat Angler had 80 croaker.
