Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/29/25

I don鈥檛 know what to think. Saturday makes two weekends in a row with favorable fishing conditions. Somebody must be doing something right.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Katydid had a boat limit of black sea bass. Private boats worked the Outer Wall and the Hay Stacks with sand fleas and fiddler crabs to put together a catch of sheepshead.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us action with spot and croaker was a little better on Saturday than it was on Friday. Bloodworms, FishBites and shrimp were the baits of choice.

I was unable to make contact with Old Inlet Bait and Tackle, but I would guess they had reports of stripers at night on sand fleas and eels, blues on incoming current during the day on metal lures.
