Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/01/25

It was a stormy Monday, but fishing was not too bad between the rain drops.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Surface Tension fished ocean structure for a catch of flounder, the head boat Angler fished bay structure and caught croaker and the Chasin’ Tail brought in sea bass from ocean structure.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said there were more croaker that spot caught on Monday.

Nick Garcia and his grandparents took long drifts in Delaware Bay looking for flounder and ended up with five keepers to 22 inches.

Jacob White drifted Indian River Inlet to catch four keeper flounder to 25 inches.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Capt. Bob and the Judy V brought in more flounder and sea bass on Monday. A private boat had yellowfin and bigeye tuna.
