Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/03/25

Wednesday was just a bit damp, but the good news is the marine forecast for the holiday weekend is great. Winds of no more than 5 to 10 knots and seas of no more than 3 feet on the ocean. Delaware Bay is even better.

As for Wednesday, both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m told us that no boats left their docks due to the torrential rain on Wednesday morning.

I tried to contact Old Inlet Bait and Tackle, but no one answered the phone or the phone was out of service.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State park said after the rain cleared out and anglers returned to the pier the croaker bite was hot. Bloodworms and FishBites did the job. A few small flounder were caught on minnows and Gulp! fished on jigs.
