Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/07/25
Sunday saw a bit more wind and that didn鈥檛 help the fishing.
Lewes Harbour Marina reported the Katydid brought in 20 sea bass and 12 flounder to 7.5 pounds from ocean structure on Sunday. Dave Popovich had a limit of sea bass and one flounder. Private boats caught sheepshead and triggerfish from the Outer Wall and the Haystacks on sand fleas and fiddler crabs.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said it was a slow Sunday with just a few croaker and spot caught.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m also reported a slow Sunday with the wind against the current the boats could not get a good drift and catching suffered accordingly.
Rick鈥檚 Bait and Tackle on Long Neck told us flounder, spot and croaker are available in the Back Bays.
