Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/08/25
The big news on Monday is the lifting of reservations on 7 of 12 drive-on beaches. DNREC has decided to remove the necessary reservation on weekends and holidays for Key Box, Conquest and Faithful Steward beaches at Delaware Seashore State Park. York, Middle and South beaches at Fenwick Island State Park. Beach Plum Island north of Lewes.
Reservations will still be required at Gordon鈥檚 Pond, Herring Point, Navy Crossing and Point Crossing in Cape Henlopen State Park. Also 3 Rs in Delaware Seashore State Park.
I have never used the reservation system since I live here, I don鈥檛 feel the need to fight the traffic on the weekends since I can surf fish any day of the week. I do have friends who still work during the week and have to fish the weekends so this will be a great relief to them.
