Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/17/25
Wednesday saw a bit, more wind and a bit more heat than we would like, but fish were still caught in the bay and the ocean.
Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid brought in 17 flounder from ocean structure on Wednesday.
I am happy to report that Old Inlet Bait and Tackle finally got the phone company to fix their phone and we finally got a fishing report from Indian River Inlet. Flounder have been caught out of the Inlet on Gulp!, squid strips and minnows. A few stripers have been caught at night. Tony Walls caught a 28.24-inch striper on his second cast Tuesday evening on a white bucktail with a white worm.
Rick鈥檚 Bait and Tackle checked in a 26-inch, 6.4-pound flounder for Ron Rice that he caught at the Old Grounds.
