Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/24/25

Wednesday was a bit sporty on the ocean with the result of poor fishing conditions.

My friend Dan Neumann and Paul Perkins fished the surf on Tuesday morning right after high tide and for nearly three hours they had non-stop action with spot and kingfish using bloodworms, Fishbites and shrimp. They had no luck using cut or chunked spot.

Steve Kuhlman said the ocean was rough on Tuesday morning when he ran out to the east side of the shipping channel and fished from B Buoy down to A Buoy. He did manage to land one 4.6-pound flounder along with three shorts. He also had two dozen short sea bass. He moved to the west side of the channel and fished to Site 10 catching croaker and skates. He also removed two birthday balloons from the water.
