Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/25/25

Thursday was another summer day with decent weather and fair fishing.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Jay Sea II had a few flounder from ocean structure. The Chasin’ Tail fished in Delaware Bay and brought in some croaker. The head boat Angler did the same with the same result.

Steve at Smith Bait told us the striper action at the Augustine Wall continues with slot and above fish caught at night one hour before and one hour after high tide. Peeler crab and bucktails are the top attractors. The Bowers Beach jetty has seen flounder and trout caught on minnows and peeler crab.

The Gale Force with Captain Aaron Herd fished the inshore ocean with the Crone and Kohler families on Thursday morning. They managed to catch five big flounder and one ribbonfish.
