Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/28/25
Sunday was hot with a nice thunderstorm to end the day.
Lee Lepore from the Lewes Tog Club fished a wreck just outside of Lewes to take home seven triggerfish and one 19-inch tog. He caught many short tog and sea bass during the day.
Greg Allen managed to land one 16.25-inch tog out of the southside of Indian River Inlet just west of the bridge. He used a Carolina rig baited with sand fleas.
Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid, the Jay Sea II, and the Surface Tension brought in some flounder and sea bass. Private boats that fished the ocean structure did the same. The head boats that fished the bay structure had spot, croaker and kings.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said boats from their docks had slow fishing over ocean structure.
