Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/28/26
Monday afternoon I got caught in a rain storm the likes of which I have only experienced once before and that was during a tornado in Chicago. I was over around Dairy Farm Road and the rain was so hard I thought it was hail. When I returned to Overbrook Shores, I could tell the rain had missed my home.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us spot and croaker were the primary catch from Delaware Bay reef sites fished with bloodworms and Fishbites by those folks aboard the head boat Angler. Private boats worked the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crabs to catch triggerfish.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported spot and croaker caught on Monday.
Old Inlet said tog, sheepshead and triggerfish were caught from the Inlet.
