Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/29/25

Monday was hot and humid just like a good, old Delaware summer day. Those who decided to go fishing seemed to have a decent catch.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Katydid brought in flounder from ocean structure. The head boat Angler caught croaker and kings for her party by fishing Delaware Bay structure. The Pirate King had an all-day charter and ran to the ocean to catch black sea bass.

Today we have a first-hand account of fishing on the pier at Cape Henlopen State Park. Josh Dean was there on Sunday and caught kings and croaker plus several small spot and one small sea robin.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m recorded a fine 48-pound cobia caught by Larry Horning. The Captain Bob ran a full-day and had a decent catch of sea bass.
