Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/30/26

Wednesday was a tad breezy after a night of rain, but people went fishing and they caught fish.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle had a customer who fished the canyons and caught tilefish and yellowfin tuna. Broadkill Beach produced, you guessed it, spot and croaker on bloodworms and Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid had a mixed bag of flounder, sea bass and croaker. The Lewes and Rehoboth Canal saw spot and croaker. Private boats that fished the Outer Wall and Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crabs caught sheepshead and triggerfish.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State park said crabbing has been good.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported sea bass and flounder on the head boats. Private boats fished Fenwick Shoal and caught Spanish mackerel and bluefish.
