Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/31/25

Wednesday was another summer day with lots of heat and not a lot of people fishing.

Lewes Harbour Marina told me no boats left their dock on Wednesday.

On Tuesday night Landen Ganoung caught a 12-pound sheepshead out of the Inlet on what looks like an imitation eel.

Captain Monty on the Morning Star out of Ocean City was pleasantly surprised on Tuesday with an excellent catch of sea bass. Some customers even had their 15-fish limits.

Old Inlet said they saw plenty of small fish like spot sheepshead and tog caught on Wednesday, but nothing of any size.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m told us the Judy V had 20 sea bass and the Captain Bob had flounder and sea bass. A number of boats fished the canyons and brought back blueline and golden tilefish.

This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of Delmarva fishing report.
