Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/05/26

Tuesday was pretty windy and no local boats ventured out to ocean structure.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said he had no reports from Broadkill Beach because of the wind. He did have reports from the Broadkill River where a few flounder were caught on minnows or on jigs with Gulp! or strips of squid. Croaker were taken on bloodworms or Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Angler and the Pirate King both fished bay structure and both brought back croaker.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported on a slow day due to the wind. Some croaker and spot were caught during high tide.

Old Inlet said the Inlet saw blues show up under the bridge during early morning and take bucktails or metal lures. The beach saw croaker, kings and spot.
