Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/07/25

Wednesday saw more rough seas in the ocean and with strong northeast winds, Delaware Bay was no picnic either.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Angler and the Pirate King went out in Delaware Bay on a quest for croaker. No other boats left their slips.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported spot and croaker plus a few kings caught on bloodworms, Gulp! and Fishbites.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said fishing has been slow due to all the northeast wind. One angler did show up with an 8-pound sheepshead caught out of Indian River Inlet on shrimp.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m had a very slow day with no boats leaving their slips. They did clean a keeper tog caught out of Indian River Inlet.
