Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/10/25

Saturday was an absolutely beautiful summer day that is unless you wanted to fish in the ocean. Both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported none of their regular boats left the dock with the exception of the Boy’s Toy. That boat is entered in the White Marlin Open and fishes out of Indian River. They released a white and a blue marlin on Saturday.

Captain Pete on the Top Fin gave the sharks a rest on Friday and carried a group of Amish from West View Sawmill to his secret location where they caught a limit of 28 keeper flounder.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle had some good news as they reported some 2 to 4-pound blues were caught at Indian River Inlet on metal lures during incoming water.
