Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/12/25
Monday was a fair-weather day and according to the marine forecast, the rest of the week looks great with lite winds and almost calm seas.
According to Lewes Harbour Marina the Katydid was the only charter boat that went out on Monday and they caught 25 keeper flounder. The head boats, Angler and Pirate King, ran afternoon trips and were not back when I called.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us spot and croaker were caught from the boards on Monday. Bloodworms and Fishbites were the top baits.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that sheepshead and tog were caught from the rocks on Monday. Sand fleas and green crabs were the baits most commonly used. No word about those 2 to 4-pound bluefish that moved through on incoming water on Sunday.
