Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/18/25
Sunday saw another good weather day, but it was the last for a long time. Small craft advisories are up from Monday morning until Thursday afternoon for seas as high as nine feet. The forecast could be better or worst depending on the track of the hurricane.
Lewes Harbour Marina said the boats fishing the Flounder Pounder Tournament were not back yet. As of 5:00 p.m. the Katydid was still in Fourth and the Grizzly was still in Fifth.
The head boats Angler and Pirate King had croaker from bay structure on Sunday.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing Pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said just the usual summer menu of spot, croaker and kings on bloodworms and Fishbites on Sunday.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said the Captain Bob had a good catch of sea bass plus some flounder from ocean structure on Sunday. Private boats had plenty of mahi from the canyons.
