Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/25/25

Sunday was the final day of small craft advisories on the inshore waters. On Monday the seas go to 2 to 3 feet and the rest of the week we will have 2-foot seas on the ocean. Delaware Bay will see similar conditions with light west winds and seas running 1 to 2 feet. The only place that might be rough is the mouth of the bay during incoming water.

The drive-on surf fishing locations were all closed with the exception of 3Rs Road and you needed a reservation to fish there.

I did get a report from Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m. They told me that the larger charter and private boats that ran to the canyons brought back good numbers of dolphin or mahi. The Judy V fished inshore and had sea bass and croakers.
