Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/27/25

Tuesday saw very nice weather, but fishing remained slow.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the only boat that sailed was the Bottom Line and he ran all the way to the deep to bring back some dolphin or mahi.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us there was a good run of spot and croaker from the pier during the morning high tide.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle had a good number of people stop in for bait, but no one returned with a report of any fish being caught from the Inlet or the beach.

At Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m they described fishing as still slow. A few sea bass were caught on the inshore grounds, but not much else. Apparently, the water is still dirty. It will take a few more tides to settle things down.
