Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/29/25
Thursday was another nice day and fishing saw some improvement.
Captain Aaron Herd on the Gale Force had Richie, Brian and Chase out for an afternoon charter at Indian River Inlet. Live spot was the bait and they caught four keeper flounder. One was 19 inches, two were 19.5 inches and one was 17.5 inches.
Mike Fischer and his dad Ted fished the Old Grounds on Thursday and caught six keeper flounder to 20 inches, some sea bass, croaker and released an angel shark.
Nick Garcia and his Pop fished with Captain Gordon Muller in Delaware Bay. They began fishing at 6:30 a.m. and caught short flounder on the first drift. The second drift and from then on, keepers, including Nick鈥檚 personal best of 25.5 inches, were the order of the day.
