Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/30/25
Friday was another very nice day and fish were caught from the ocean to the bay.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said there were sheepshead and tog caught out of the rocks on sand fleas and green crabs on Friday. Thursday night into Friday morning anglers drifting sand fleas and eels managed to catch a few stripers. Surf fishing with sand fleas and Fishbites produced spot, croaker and kings with the best action during incoming water. Incoming water was also the best time to be at Indian River Inlet to catch bluefish on metal lures such as a Hopkins or a Stingsilver. Flounder have been caught from the Inlet on minnows and live spot.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m reported that the all-day boat, the Captain Bob, had a decent number of flounder and sea bass and the half-day boat Judy V did good as well.
