Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/06/25

Friday saw small craft advisories up for the ocean. There are showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for the weekend along with some fairly strong winds.

Both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us no boats left their docks on Friday.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said they had a good day on Friday with plenty of spot and croaker caught on bloodworms, Fishbites and squid strips. Saturday will see their annual tournament and hopes are high for another good day.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us some nice sheepshead and tog were caught on sand fleas and green crab from the Inlet rocks on Saturday. The surf saw a good run of kings early in the morning on bloodworms and Fishbites.
