Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/09/25
Monday was a blowout and small craft advisories are up through Wednesday on the ocean and through Tuesday and most likely Wednesday on Delaware Bay. Winds are forecast to blow hard northeast right through Friday.
No boats went out of Lewes or Indian River Marina.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m did have one report. A guy was anchored up in Indian River Bay trying to catch spot and he caught two keeper flounder.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said Indian River Inlet was a mess, but a few sheepshead and tog were caught on sand fleas and crab. The surf was unfishable.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said spot and croaker were caught during high tide on bloodworms and Fishbites.
