Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/14/25
Saturday was the day we have all been waiting for. The weather was perfect and the fish were hungry.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Jay Sea III had flounder, sea bass and triggerfish, the Bottom Line had sea bass and the Shooter Dog had sea bass, flounder and triggerfish.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported good action on big croaker, a couple of keeper flounder, some small blues and a few spot.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said croaker to 12 inches were caught from the Inlet rocks along with a few keeper tog and sheepshead. Some larger pompano were taken from the surf along with kings and croaker.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m was excited to tell me that the head boat Captain Bob had 22 anglers on board and they caught a boat-limit of flounder.
