Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/15/26

While no small craft advisories went up on Monday no small craft or even what most of us would consider large craft went out on the open waters. It seems what the National Weather Service calls 3 to 4-foot seas translate to much larger ones when viewed from the cockpit of a boat.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said spot, croaker and small blues were caught from Broadkill Beach. Lug worms and Fishbites for the spot and croaker with cut bait for the blues. The Broadkill River gave up larger croaker and a few keeper flounder. Crabbing continues to be very good.

Old Inlet told us blues were caught on metal lures and stripers were taken at night on live eels.
