Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/16/25

When I called Lewes Harbour Marina, they told me only one boat ran on Monday and that was the Katydid. He tried the bay because there were going to be small craft advisories up in the ocean. The bay may have been a better choice, but it only provided the crew two sheepshead and one trout.

I had a couple of reports from the weekend. Brian Kelly from the Lewes Tog Club caught 10 sheepshead on Sunday. Sam Piascscik fished Delaware Bay on Saturday and caught lots of bluefish, a couple of kings and seven triggerfish to six pounds.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us there was a good run of three to four-pound blues on Monday morning at Indian River Inlet on spoons and bucktails.
