Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/18/25

Well, I made usual round of calls on Wednesday and except for the fishing pier on Cape Henlopen State Park I could have saved the effort. Breakwater Tackle said the only fish they saw caught all day between the rain drops were some spot on bloodworms or Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina told me no boats went out on Wednesday.

I did get the results of the Oyster Cracker Tournament held on the Captain’s Lady out of Bowers Beach. Dan Anderson took the $3,000 first prize with a 2-pound, 4-ounce beauty. The real winner in the contest was the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital as the tournament raised $8,023 for that worthy cause. Crabby Dicks deserve special thanks for all the food and a $1,000 donation.
