Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/19/25

Thursday saw a little better weather and better fishing.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Grizzly with Captain Cary Evans brought in 18 flounder and 80 black sea bass.

Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa checked in a Delaware Citation Flounder for Chris Curlatt. The big flatfish tipped the scales at 7.93 pounds and was caught over ocean structure on Gulp! She also had reports of croaker and white perch caught on bloodworms and Fishbites along the coast from Augustine Beach down to the fishing pier at Woodland Beach.

Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic said the tidal creeks and rivers hold white perch and small stripers that will take bloodworms or Fishbites.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that while they have sold plenty of bait, they have not had a report of any fish caught from the inlet or the beach.
