Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/22/25

Our old friend small craft advisory was up on Sunday and will be up on Monday as well.

No one answered the phone at Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said no boats ventured into the ocean on Sunday. They did clean two fish from boats that fished Indian River Inlet. One was a tog and the other was a slot striper.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said it was a slow day from the boards. No croaker and just some spot, small blues and short flounder were caught on Sunday.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us some tog and sheepshead were caught from the rocks on sand fleas and crab. Anglers who hit the beach early in the morning had good luck catching 20 to 24-inch blues on cut mullet.
