Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/22/26

We usually have a northeast storm to transition from summer to fall. It will normally last one or two days. This year it is going to last a week and carry over on to the full moon. Unfortunately, that will allow one high tide to build up on the last high tide so coastal flooding is a real possibility. The storm will also cancel any thought of fishing be it in the ocean, bay or surf.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said he only had two customers on Monday and they bought bait to fish the pier at Cape Henlopen State Park.

Aaron at Lewes Harbour Marina reported that no boats departed their slips at the marina and while he did see a few boats working the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal he didn’t see or hear of any fish.
