Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/23/26

The wind and the waves shut down all fishing on Tuesday and if the forecast holds, we won’t have any fishing this entire week. Winds are forecasted to top out at 40 knots and seas on the ocean are supposed to get as high a 14 feet. Delaware Bay will see waves in the 6 to 7-foot range.

Flooding is a real possibility as one high tide builds upon the last one. Add to that the fact that we are coming up on a full moon, just to make matters worse.

This flooding will dislodge all sorts of interesting stuff from low lying areas and carry it back to the open water. The beaches will be littered with driftwood and who knows what else and the water will have floating objects that will damage your boat.
