Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/24/25
The weather was fishable on Tuesday, and folks made the best of it.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us only one boat went out on Tuesday. The Katydid ran to ocean structure and returned with 38 flounder and 42 black sea bass.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said they saw good numbers of spot and croaker caught on bloodworms and Fishbites on Tuesday.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle was excited to report the news that red drum were caught from Indian River Inlet on Tuesday. No bait was given, but my guess would be mullet. Nice sheepshead were caught on sand fleas and green crabs.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said the Captain Bob had a boat limit of 240 sea bass and one 3-pound flounder.
