Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/27/25
The weather was good on Friday and the boats that ran to the ocean took advantage of it and caught a lot of sea bass. Saturday looks good as well.
Lewes Harbour Marina reported the Katydid was the only boat out on Friday and Chris must have cleaned the fish on board, because they didn鈥檛 bring any back to the cleaning table.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said it was a slow day with just a few croaker and spot plus some short flounder.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us some sheepshead were caught on sand fleas and crab and a few flounder were taken on live minnows and mullet out of the rocks.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said the Captain Bob had a boat limit of sea bass plus five triggerfish.
