Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/01/25
Tuesday, we had a small craft advisory that will become a gale warning on Wednesday. No boats ventured out into the ocean, but a few did fish the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers.
Lewes Harbour Marina said two private boats bought sand fleas and green crabs and went to the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers looking for tog and sheepshead. They didn鈥檛 bring any back to the cleaning table, but they could have cleaned the catch themselves.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that some sheepshead and small tog were caught on sand fleas and green crab out of the rocks. A few blues were taken on metal lures and bucktails. Blues were also caught from the surf on cut mullet early in the morning.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said one boat ran to the Outer Wall and brought back a sheepshead and two tog.
