Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/03/25
Thursday was one of those days when my reporting stations had one thing in common, no fish caught. It seemed to me that the wind blew harder on Thursday with a small craft advisory than it did on Wednesday with a gale warning.
According to the National Weather Service on Saturday and Sunday we are supposed to have west to southwest winds at 5 knots. Seas are supposed to be 3 to 4 feet, but with no wind, that should be manageable. The problem will be, with sea bass season closed, what to fish for.
Patty at Captain Bones has recorded two Delaware Flounder Citations for Chris Curlett. The biggest is a real trophy at 9.31 pounds and the second is 7.56 pounds. Both were caught over ocean structure on Gulp! That鈥檚 you answer. Fish for flounder.
