Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/07/25
Monday was another nice day and if you were in the right place at the right time fishing was pretty good. Then again, that鈥檚 always the way.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us the boats that ran from there fished the Outer Wall and the Ice breakers with sand fleas and green crab to catch sheepshead and tog. The Katydid was the only charter boat that went and he brought back five sheepshead and four tog.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported that they saw spot and croaker caught on bloodworms and Fishbites. Small blues were taken on mullet and small flounder were caught on minnows or Gulp! fished on bucktails or jigs on the down current side close to the pilings.
Old Inlet said there was a run of 18-inch blues caught on mullet from the beach at daybreak.
