Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/09/25

Wednesday, we had small craft advisories up and they will be up until Thursday afternoon. Unless you are ready for an early Halloween scare, don’t read the marine forecast for the weekend.

Both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported no boats sailed from their docks on Wednesday.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said the only fish they heard of all day was a 5-pound sheepshead caught out of Indian River Inlet.

There are a couple of exceptions to the 50-fish possession law on spot. One is vessels engaged in recreational fishing may possess 50 spot per angler when in transit to or from a fishing destination. The other exception allows licensed guides, charter boats and head boats to possess more then 50 spot between their residence and their business location.
