Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10-11-23

Wednesday was another good weather day, but once again not many boats went fishing.

At Lewes Harbour Marina the report was the Katydid brought in another boat load of black sea bass plus a couple of triggerfish. They saw the Grizzly go out, but they didn’t have a report from Captain Evans. I am sure he too had plenty of sea bass.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported some small spot and croaker caught on bloodworms and Fishbites. A few small flounder were taken on minnows. A couple of sheepshead and tog were caught on sand fleas.

At Old Inlet they said sheepshead and tog were the order of the day. Both were caught from the inlet on sand fleas. The surf is slow with a few kingfish.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em they said the Judy V ran all-day and caught lots of sea bass. The Fish Whistle had 2 wahoo and 1 dolphin.
