Friday was the last good weather day until sometime next week. You might be able to sneak in some fishing on Saturday morning before the rain hits, but then small craft advisories will be up and the rain will be coming down.

At Lewes Harbour Marina the Sea Jay II had a nice catch of sea bass plus some triggerfish. The Chasin’ Tail came back from ocean structure with one flounder to add to their sea bass and triggerfish catch.

Burt at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said they have never seen this many wahoo in such a short time. The boats that are trolling in the Tea Cup and the Hot Dog area are catching as many as 14 per trip. That is as many as the shop may see in one year.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said the inlet continues to produce sheepshead and small tog on sand fleas and green crabs. The surf continues to be slow with just a few kingfish.
