Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/14/25
If anything, Monday was worse than Sunday. The wind went northwest, the temperature dropped and it rained even harder. I had to go out to Milton for medical appointments and the roads were flooded as well as the parking lot behind the library. To the best of my knowledge, no one went fishing.
Yesterday the marine forecast had 5-foot seas through Friday. Today they have upped those to 7-foot seas. I have no idea when we will get back out on the black sea bass or where they will be when we do.
A long stretch of rough surf and high tides is going to stir up the bottom and bring all sorts of junk into the water from flooded land. This will mess up even land-based fishing such as Indian River Inlet and the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park.
