Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/18/25

Friday was just a tad chilly with a northwest wind and small craft advisories. Saturday’s forecast looks to be as good as we are going to get for a while and both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us some boats are going fishing in spite of the forecasted 4-foot seas.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle was the only reporting station that actually had a report of fish being caught. They told us that quite a few tog were taken from Indian River Inlet on sand fleas and green crabs. However, most of the tog were small with just a few keepers.

For the third day in a row, no one has answered the phone at Breakwater Tackle so I don’t have a report from the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park. I will call them earlier on Saturday in hopes of finding them open.
