Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/22/25

Tuesday saw small craft advisories up in the afternoon, so I though a few boats might try the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers in the morning for sheepshead and tog, but according to Lewes Harbour Marina, who had the same thought, none did.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park did not answer the phone when I called around 4:30 p.m. They close early when there is a hard west or southwest wind as it blows the water out from under the pier.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said tog fishing remained good at Indian River Inlet with sand fleas and green crab the best baits. Striped bass were caught at night on live eels. No word if any fit in the 28 to 31-inch slot. They had no report from the surf.
