Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/26/25

Saturday was a beautiful fall day with hardly a breeze to stir the water. Sunday is forecast to be the same, but Monday, fuhgeddaboudit.

Lewes Harbour Marina said one private boat came in with triggerfish and tog from ocean structure. The Chasin’ Tail had a catch of sea bass and triggerfish also from ocean structure.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park was surprised at the low number of fishermen who turned out on Saturday. Those who did caught spot and croaker on bloodworms and Fishbites. The Kayak anglers who fish the remains of the pier on the east end had good luck with tog and sheepshead using sand fleas and green crabs.

Old Inlet said the tog parade continues uninterrupted. A few sheepshead are also in the mix on sand fleas and green crab.
