Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/30/25
Wednesday I was back at the Hyett Place in Dewey Beach at the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission Annual Meeting and this day the subject was striped bass.
The meeting got underway around 9:30 and instead of a room full of men from Omega Protein, the room was full of charter boat captains and watermen from Maryland. They all wore identical white hats and there was no doubt they made an impressive showing.
The first motion was to remain Status Quo as far as striped bass regulations and that passed.
The next motion was to form a Work Group to study every thing that effects striped bass breeding and determine a plan of action. This should have been done years ago and I am glad it is finally going to happen.
This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of Delmarva fishing report.
