To the best of my knowledge, no boats cleared the inlet at Indian River or Roosevelt on Tuesday and it doesn’t look good for Wednesday as small craft advisories are up all day.

Breakwater Tackle has closed for the season. The pier remains open.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said a few anglers fished in the rain on Tuesday and caught a couple of tog on sand fleas and green crabs.

The Scotton Landing Boat Ramp will be closed beginning on Tuesday, November 7 for reconstruction. Located on the St. Jones River off of Trap Shooters Road near Magnolia. The project will include a new boat ramp, parking lot, courtesy dock and steel sheet piles to protect the ramp from scouring.

The ramp will be extended into deeper water for better launching at low tide. The L-shaped courtesy dock makes for easier mooring while parking the tow vehicle. Completion is April 1, 2024.
