Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/07/25

Thursday was another rough day for fishermen, tackle shops, head and charter boats.

Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa recorded a Delaware Crappie Citation for Ronnie Littleton who caught a 1.2-pounder on a minnow at Concord Pond. She also reported that white perch and catfish have been caught from shore beginning at Augustine Beach on down to Woodland Beach. Bloodworms for the perch while the channel cats like bunker or the packaged baits made just for them.

Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic said the constant wind has really hurt fishing, but there were some white perch and striped bass caught from the fishing pier at Woodland Beach. Bloodworms were used to catch both. While most of the stripers were small, a few were in the 28 to 31-inch slot.
