Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/08/25

Friday saw small craft advisories up on the ocean and bay.

Both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported no boats sailed from Lewes or out of Indian River Inlet on Friday. However, both reporting stations told us several captains have bought bait and are planning to run on Saturday.

Once again, the only shop with fish to report was Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. They said tog were caught on sand fleas and green crabs from the rocks that line Indian River Inlet. There was no report from the beach and no report of any striped bass caught from the Inlet.

These constantly competing warm and cold fronts are creating strong winds from both the east and west. No matter what direction they choose, the results are the same; no fishing.
