Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/12/25

With a gale warning up on Tuesday I knew no boats would be going out of Lewes Harbour Marina or Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em. My only hope of finding a fish to report on was going to be Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. When I called them, they told me people did come in early in the day and bought some bait. They were all back before long trying to return the bait claiming it was much too windy to fish.

Striped bass action has been good in North Jersey, so long as you are in a boat. I have had several reports, including one from my son Roger, that the stripers are holding about two casts off the beach. Rog sent a photo of the surf fishermen lined upon the beach, with the boats just out of casting range.

It seems the bass are feeding on sand eels so AVA jigs are the hot lure.
